Darren graduated from University in 1995 with an LLB (Hons) having studied Law.  He undertook the Bar Vocational Course in 1996 prior to working as a Barrister before taking the necessary exams to transfer to become dual qualified as a Solicitor too. Darren joined Dunn & Baker Solicitors in 2012. 

Darren has over 15 years’ experience in dealing with medical negligence and personal injury claims with particular expertise in cases involving catastrophic injury arising from road traffic accidents, accidents at work and public liability accidents. Darren also has considerable experience dealing with fatal accident claims and Inquests.

Darren has handled many claims involving very complex liability and valuation issues.

Darren specialises in medical negligence claims and heads the firm’s Medical Negligence Department. The type of claims Darren deals with include claims against hospitals, GP’s, dentists, surgeons, physiotherapists and other treatment specialists for;

Prior to becoming a Solicitor, Darren was a barrister specialising in injury claims. He has acted for clients both locally and nationwide and is passionate about ensuring the highest client care is provided to his clients.

Darren is extremely approachable, friendly and understanding and fights to ensure that his clients get the maximum compensation that they are entitled to as a result of the medical negligence they have suffered.

Darren also has Higher Rights of Audience, meaning he can act as an Advocate in all levels of the Courts in England and Wales.

Darren is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).
