I am a Solicitor and Partner and practice both criminal law and mental health law.

I have almost 15 years experience in criminal litigation with extensive experience in dealing with all types of offences from road traffic matters to more serious offences including murder. I am a member of the Duty Solicitor Panel. 

I am also a member of the Mental Health Review Tribunal Panel. I work closely with clients detained under the Mental Health Act to ensure that their rights are upheld and to represent their interests at hearings and appeals. I regularly advise and represent clients at hospitals throughout the North West at all levels of security in civil and forensic cases.

I have represented clients with a wide range of specialist needs including personality disorders and eating disorders. I have a particular interest in working with adolescents who are detained under the Mental Health Act.
