Helene graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2002 with a combined honours in Psychology and Economics.  After finishing her degree, Helene volunteered at the Citizens Advice Bureau.  She graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2005 with the Graduate Diploma in Law.  Helene worked as a paralegal at Silverbeck Rymer gaining valuable legal experience and in 2006 she worked pro bono as a volunteer with Merseyside Refugee Asylum Seekers Pre and Post Natal Support Group (MRANG).

In 2007 Helene attended Chester College of Law and successfully completed the Legal Practice Course.

Helene joined AS Law as a caseworker and joined Jackson & Canter when the firms merged in 2009.

Helene continues her pro bono work with MRANG.

She speaks conversational Spanish and French.
