Leigha assists the department in relation to its work and has a growing caseload of her own. Leigha joined the company some 10 years ago when she started as an office assistant and gradually through training provided by the firm and her role as civil litigation assistant to a former partner she started her fee earner role some 3 years ago.

She has a keen interest in Housing Law and particularly enjoys supporting clients when they attend court. It can be a stressful time for clients who face losing their home and Leigha has been very helpful and efficient, not only to the clients but also to the barristers. She has also successfully settled disrepair claims without the need of court proceedings and is developing her expertise in advising tenants on deposits payable to private landlord and defending possession claims brought by them.
