Steve Rogers / Partner and Head of Department
Steve is a Partner in the firm who specialises in Criminal Defence work and oversees the day to day running of the Department as a whole.
Steve has handled many serious cases over the years including high profile murder cases.
Steve regularly appears in the Magistrates' Court and attends at Police Station Interviews for our clients and is a Duty Solicitor on the Liverpool Scheme for the Magistrates Court and Police Stations.
Steve was born in Liverpool and attended Alsop School where he studied Classics before graduating with a Law Degree from Leeds University where he represented the University at Rugby League.
Steve joined Jackson & Canter in 1976 and was articled to Philip Canter for 2 years before qualifying as a solicitor. He has remained with Jackson & Canter since then becoming a Partner in the early 1980’s.
Outside work Steve has active interests in Football, Sea Fishing, Wine and Horse Racing (not always in that order) and has held a season ticket at Goodison Park for many years.
Through his vast experience of the Criminal Legal System Steve will do his utmost to ensure that your case is handled competently and professionally from beginning to end.
