Immigration Team
The Immigration Team are dedicated to the proposition that all migrants have rights. We will protect and promote those rights on behalf of all our clients with integrity, commitment and energy.
We recognise the need of our clients for certainty and security when planning their future in the UK. The Team has a strong reputation for delivering positive outcomes for its clients and has been consistently ranked as a leading firm in the North by Chambers and Partners.
Our Managed Migration Team advises individuals and businesses in relation to applications to work, study, settle and invest in the UK.
Our Asylum and Human Rights Team assists clients in obtaining protection in the UK and has acquired a national reputation for its high profile reported cases.
We also recognise that our clients may have other legal issues which flow from their immigration status. The Team works in close collaboration with our colleagues in the Family Law, Prisoner Rights, Criminal and Public Law Teams to deliver an integrated and combined solution to those problems. This service is unique in the North. We can deliver a global and strategic solution to all of our clients legal issues.
The Team has been awarded a large immigration contract by the Legal Services Commission and our clients may be eligible for free legal advice. For those who are not eligible for free legal advice we offer a private service at competitive rates.
