We are currently pursuing a very serious claim against a school were a young boy suffered a very serious eye injury when a faulty door blew open knocking him into a barrier with a door catch fitted to it. (follow our blog to see how that goes)

Example case of client injured in public places
Ms P from North Wales was injured whilst dancing in a her local club/bar. She slipped on a drink that had been spilt on the dance floor and broke her arm. The bar/club denied liability saying that they enforced a strict policy of bouncers preventing persons dancing with drink in their hands. We alleged this was not true and that not only did people dance with drinks in their hands but also a whole seating area could only be accessed from the bar area via the dance floor. To prove the same we sent in private detectives with hidden cameras who captured numerous people dancing with drinks in hand and spillages not being cleaned up. Needless to say once the insurers of the bar saw the video evidence they quickly admitted liability and settled the claim.
