Alison Wright / Associate Director
I am the Head of the Family Law department and have been specialising in all aspects of family law for more than 16 years. I am a member of the Law Society Family Law Panel, and a qualified Collaborative lawyer. I am also a member of Resolution First for Family Law, which is a national organisation for family lawyers committed to non-confrontational divorce, separation and other family problems.
I appreciate that separating from your partner can be stressful and upsetting for all concerned. An important part of my job is to advise and support you helping make the separation process as stress free as possible. I work to ensure that you understand each step clearly and can make clear and informed decisions about your future and the future of your children.
As a qualified Collaborative lawyer, if you are happy to enter the collaborative process, we will meet with your partner and their Solicitor to try to settle your case, by way of a legally binding agreement, thus avoiding the need to go to Court.
It is not always possible to settle all issues and should the need to bring your case to Court arise, I will guide you through the process, aiming to ensure the best outcome for you and your children.
