Amy Smith / Legal Secretary
I have worked in legal services since attaining my degree in 2008 and joined Oliver and Co in March 2011. I really enjoy interacting with clients and strive to help them wherever I can. I pride myself in my ability to understand their needs and put them at ease.
I have recently joined the Clinical Negligence Department. In my new position as the team secretary, I assist the solicitors by carrying out the vital administration work in order to enable them to spend their time helping our clients to recover the compensation that they deserve. I am the initial point of contact for many of our clients do everything I can to help and put them at ease from the outset.
I find Clinical Negligence a very interesting area of law and my work experience is enhanced by being part of an enthusiastic, committed and extremely successful team who have genuine interest in the wellbeing of our clients and who aim to achieve the best possible outcome for them. For our clients, the feeling of being let down by the medical profession is extremely distressing and it is therefore important for them to know that when they contact us, they will be dealt with both professionally and compassionately by our dedicated team.
I am keen to continue learning and developing both my medical and legal knowledge from the team and hope to continue to learn and progress within the department for the benefit of myself, my colleagues and our clients.
