Helen Varty / Solicitor
One of the most difficult and upsetting times in a person's life is following the breakdown of a relationship. Instructing a Solicitor in such a situation can be daunting, and whether you are seeking a divorce or trying to get contact with your children, it is imperative that your case is dealt with sensitively. My role is to enable that to happen and to achieve the best outcome for you, whether that is through negotiation, or the court process.
Every effort is made to ensure that court proceedings are issued only as a last resort, but if it is necessary to go to court then I will ensure that your case is dealt with as expeditiously as possible and with the minimum amount of stress. If mediation can be utilised then I can refer you to a trained mediator to try and facilitate communication between parties and to assist in an agreement being reached.
I am a member of the Association of Lawyers for children, Resolution and I am a member of the Law Society Children Panel which means I am able to represent children in proceedings and have expertise in all public law proceedings.
I recognise that family issues are sensitive and I will ensure that I do everything to help and support you through the process.
