I joined QualitySolicitors Oliver & Co in 2008 as a Paralegal for the Head of the Personal Injury department. Having this opportunity has given me experience in assisting in the more serious Personal Injury cases as well as some Clinical Negligence claims.

I completed my training contract in September 2011 after gaining experience in the family department assisting with divorce, financial dispute matters, private and public law children proceedings. I spent time in the busy conveyancing department where I dealt with a number of sales, purchases and re-mortgages of properties. I also handled a number of Criminal Injuries Compensation claims for clients who had been injured as a result of a criminal attack or incident.

I am now a solicitor in the Industrial Disease department where I assist mainly with noise induced hearing loss and vibration white finger claims. In many cases our clients do not realise that they are suffering from an industrial disease or illness until later in life. We therefore use our best efforts in the industrial disease department to locate previous employers or insurers in order to successfully claim the compensation that our clients deserve. I believe it is important to deal with claims as efficiently as possible. These types of cases require dedication in order to achieve the best outcome for the client especially when the symptoms they suffer from have such an impact on their day to day lives.
