There will invariably be financial matters which will need to be resolved following the breakdown of a relationship, whether it relates to disputes over property, other assets, or pensions. We can resolve the most complex of financial affairs and have expertise in dealing with cases where high value assets are involved and complex negotiations are required to reach a settlement which is right for you. This includes untangling company and commercial interests and asset tracing where necessary.
These issues can be resolved by the parties attending mediation, negotiating through Solicitors, through collaboration, or ultimately attending court if parties cannot agree. It is advisable not to conclude the divorce until all the finances are settled. We will guide you through this process and advise you of what you may be entitled to.
If you are not married and have finances to be resolved upon separation we can draft a separation agreement, if agreement can be reached. We can advise you on all your rights regarding property issues.
