Corporate Charity for 2013

QualitySolicitors Wilson Browne staff have chosen Brake as the firm’s corporate charity for 2013.  Brake is a national charity dedicated to preventing road death and injury and supporting those bereaved or injured in road crashes. There are five people killed on UK roads every single day and hundreds more seriously injured.

Brake's work involves running awareness raising campaigns, community education programmes, events and a Fleet Safety Forum (providing advice to companies with fleets of vehicles). Their work involves educating different road users, from children and their parents, to young people learning to drive, to professional drivers, through resources, training and events.

Brake also offers practical and emotional support to road crash victims and their families through a helpline and support literature which is handed out by police following every fatal road crash in the UK.

The staff at QualitySolicitors Wilson Browne aim to raise as much money as possible for the charity across 2013. The firm has many events planned already such as wear it bright days, cake baking and sweepstakes, to mention but a few.

QualitySolicitors Wilson Browne supports a number of other causes during the year including Jeans for Genes, Wear it Pink and Movember - raising money for mens health issues.
