Solicitor, Leasehold Enfranchisement and Property Litigation

Amphlett Lissimore is a long-standing and well-established law firm in South London. We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor to join our specialist leasehold and property litigation team based in Crystal Palace.

The Role

We are searching for an ambitious, property litigation lawyer who is looking to develop and ultimately lead a specialist team that focuses solely on lease extensions, freehold acquisitions through collective enfranchisement and right to first refusal, and contentious property matters. The candidate will also have partnership aspirations within this successful South London practice as their objective.

You will need to have detailed knowledge of all areas of leasehold law and all its technical nuances and experience of having successfully managed a caseload of relevant property matters. You will have worked for an ALEP practitioner, and adhere to their code of practice. You will need to demonstrate that you are commercially minded and have the skills to lead, inspire, and motivate colleagues.

The team includes experienced solicitors and assistants who specialise in;

  • Leasehold enfranchisement
  • Lease Extensions
  • Property disputes
  • Landlord and tenant issues

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Solicitor with 3+ years PQE
  • A specialist in leasehold matters and ideally contentious property matters too
  • Confident and experienced in managing your own caseload
  • Able to oversee and lead a small team of experienced lawyers
  • Commercially minded, with a focus on New Business Development
  • Desired, but not essential – ALEP member

There is a real opportunity for progression within the firm to partnership. The firm’s ethos is important to us and we offer a friendly yet fast paced working environment with flexibility and support. We are looking for the right person, who is client-focused and believes in our mission, to join the team and the practice.
