I practice in non-contentious commercial property work. I act for both tenants and landlords in the grant of new leases, assignment of leases, grant of subleases as well as surrenders, re-grants and leasebacks. I act for a variety of clients, ranging from sole trader landlords/tenants of commercial units, developers in the acquisition and/or disposal of development sites and commercial landlord’s with a portfolio of properties. The work I do for commercial landlords is varied, and ranges from dealing with the legal side of managing an extensive property portfolio to refinancing a property portfolio. In addition to this I also deal with on-going business sales, whether as part of a property transaction or not. I also for both buyers and sellers of property by way of auction.
I trained at Amphlett Lissimore from 2004 – 2006 after which I moved to a City firm where I remained until 2008. I left private practice in August 2008 and became a full time lecturer at BPP Law School in 2008 where I remained until 2015. I returned to Amphlett Lissimore in March 2015 to join Frank Lissimore’s commercial property department.
