I am a trainee solicitor in the Commercial Property Department at the Crystal Palace Office. In the coming months I look forward to learning and understanding the different types of commercial transactions that the firm handles. Once I finish in this area of law I will go on to gain experience in other areas of law in order to qualify as a solicitor in the summer of 2018.
My first degree was a BSc in Physics at University College London, before working in retail management for several years. It wasn’t until I was in my mid-twenties that I really thought about what direction I wanted my life to take. It was at this point that I started working at the Bromley office of Amphlett Lissimore as a Conveyancing Assistant. A little over a year later in the January of 2015 I started the Graduate Diploma in Law at BPP University which I passed with commendation eight months later, immediately followed by the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School which I passed with distinction in the summer of 2016. I am now working as a trainee solicitor while also completing my MA (LPC with Business).
In my spare time I regularly play tennis and squash. I often travel to Europe for short breaks (and skiing holidays in the winter). In between playing sport, going away and completing my Masters, I spend my time cooking (which I enjoy) or eating out in the many restaurants both locally and across London (which I perhaps enjoy slightly more).
