I have worked in law for over 30 years, starting out as a Legal Secretary. I have worked in many departments, such as Family, Litigation and Wills and Probate. I joined Amphlett Lissimore in 2014 and trained as a Wills Executive. In 2019 I became a Dementia Friend.
What I offer my clients is a calm and relaxed environment in which to discuss difficult topics when thinking of making a Will, such as who to leave your Estate to and appointing guardians for any children under the age 18.
When making Lasting Powers of Attorney I guide my clients through the process of who to appoint as an Attorney, how and when any Replacement Attorneys can act and decisions about life-sustaining treatment decisions.
I offer clients ‘out of hours’ appointments by telephone or via Zoom. If you would like to book an appointment with me, please call 020 8776 1010 or complete the enquiry form on the website.
Many clients ask “Can I do my own Power of Attorney online?” The answer to this is “yes”, however, many are unaware of the risks and potential costs that could follow if the documentation is not completed correctly and the application gets rejected by the Office of the Public Guardian.
There are a lot of big decisions that go into your Will - such as who will ensure that your wishes are carried out correctly, or if you have children under 18 who will look after them if you die? Whilst these decisions don't necessarily need to be made before your Will appointment, it's a good idea to think them through before your meeting with your lawyer.
