Karen Bowey

I am a Chartered Legal Executive within the Family Law department, dealing mostly with divorce, civil partnership dissolution and other relationship breakdowns, and then the financial/property issues which may arise as a result.  I also have experience in dealing with the practical side of the safeguarding of property interests so far as they relate to divorce and have previously dealt with the conveyancing aspects of our property matters. I also have experience of private children law and domestic violence issues. I have a keen interest in helping people achieve an amicable separation with as less stress as possible, and support the “no fault” divorce reform.

I started out working for a firm of solicitors in Croydon in 1993 alongside Carole Hack and Liz Edwards and then came to Amphlett Lissimore in December 1998.  I qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in June 1999, and now assist Donna Rose and Estella Newbold-Brown on a day to day basis at the Crystal Palace office across a variety of cases from pre-nuptial and living together agreements through to divorce.
