I am a solicitor within the Family Law department at Amphlett Lissimore, specialising in divorce, civil partnership dissolution and financial arrangements following a separation. I came to law later in life, but the skills I learnt working in financial services for 15 years have enabled me to assist clients many times.

Agreeing arrangements for the family home, inheritance, a business, savings or a pension can be daunting. I can provide the legal advice to help you understand your rights and entitlements without bombarding you with legal jargon. Just as you and your former partner are individuals, no two financial settlements/agreements are the same. I have helped clients reach agreements ranging from those with little or no assets (who just want a “clean break” order to avoid having to deal with a financial claim in the future) to clients with cash, property, business and pension assets worth £’000,000s.

My experience also extends to private children law, pre-nuptial and living together agreements as well as protection from harassment and domestic violence.

I joined Amphlett Lissimore in 2014, and now split my time between the Bromley and Raynes Park offices.

Most people start with a fixed fee meeting, in which I would provide you with legal advice which is tailored to your particular circumstances, an indication of the outcome of your matter and the likely costs. After this meeting, you will have a better understanding of where you stand legally and how you can progress your matter. Clients frequently feel much better after they have received some legal advice. I will also confirm my advice in a letter so you will have this to refer to and use if and when needed.

I have also contributed to the Aviva Edit Blog on a number of occasions. For example; Living alone and loving it: Divorced people are happier than ever, but at what cost?, and A divorce lawyer’s guide to sharing your finances.
