Savolyn Charalambous

I am a solicitor specialising in public law children act matters.

I qualified as a solicitor in 1997 and throughout my career have been committed to the area of family law. I now specialise in care proceedings and regularly represent clients where there are issues relating to neglect , drug and alcohol misuse, physical and emotional abuse and non accidental injury. I have also been instructed by the Official Solicitor to represent vulnerable clients.

In addition I have considerable experience in the representation of clients in matrimonial matters, contact and residence disputes, issues relating to special guardianship and applications for non molestation injunctions.

I am a member of the Law Society Children Panel which entitles me to represent both parents and children in care proceedings. I am also a member of the Advanced Family Law Panel with specialisms in private law children and domestic abuse.

In order to provide a seamless and quality service to my clients I undertake most of my own advocacy at court hearings. This utilises my in-depth knowledge of my client's case, therefore achieving the best possible outcome.

Outside work

Much of my spare time is spent looking after my family but my passion is travel and I try to visit different climes as much and whenever possible. I also enjoy good food and eating out with friends is a favourite past time.
