Parenting after Parting

One of your first concerns about separating from your partner is likely to be the effect of this on your relationship with your child. It is best for children if their parents can avoid undue conflict in reaching agreement about where each child will live, or how much time a child will spend with each parent - but that is much easier said than done.

We understand how feelings can run high where children are concerned, how uncertainty can breed insecurity, and how words can be used that may be regretted later on. Our objective from the outset is to equip you with the information you need to make the best parenting arrangements for your children, and to use our skills and experience to help you develop a workable parenting relationship.

'Parenting after parting'

Research has shown that Resolution's 'Parenting after parting' workshops, with their child-centred approach, have been most helpful for children. Liz Edwards was closely involved in setting this initiative up.
