we're proud to support Jayne Burnett La Danza Dance School!

Wherever possible, QualitySolicitors Bradbury Roberts & Raby has a long tradition of supporting community and charitable activities. So when we discovered our local dance school needed some funding, we were delighted we could help!

As it turned out the School needed £200 worth of funding to replenish stocks of the dancers jackets and we fully appreciated that, in such a competitive environment, projecting a professional image is important to boost the dancers' morale.

Clare Appleyard, Practice Manager for QualitySolicitors Bradbury Roberts & Raby said: “As a firm, QualitySolicitors Bradbury Roberts & Raby is proud to sponsor local young talent so donations like this are a perfect opportunity for us to help develop our community.’’

La Danza Principle and Head Dance Teacher, Jayne Burnett added: "Team JB here at La Danza, and all the dancers’ mums and dads, have been blown away by this donation, so thank you so very much from all the competitive dancers. To receive recognition by means of this donation from such a well established and prestigious law firm as QualitySolicitors Bradbury Roberts & Raby is fantastic. Giving something back into the community and to local children, who work very very hard in their chosen activity, is awesome. Thank you again”

The Scunthorpe-based School opened on 7 February 1984 to provide a wide range of dance styles, to children from the age of 3, up to and including adults, and actively participates in Open & Medallist competitions.

Situated at 47a Newdown Road (off Manor Road), Bottesford, North Lincolnshire, the School currently has pupils from Scunthorpe, its surrounding villages and as far away as Newcastle.

Jayne Burnett is supported by teachers Gill Riely, Kim Paton and Laura Jean Henderson, who are heavily involved with activities, running dances and attending competitions along with their pupils.

The School currently has 3 Premiership Champ dancers, Lily Jeans, Keeley Ann White and Neve Wragg and many other Championship dancers.  Titles include U16 ADFP championships  Birmingham masters, Adult ELITE championship winner, Birmingham masters winner, ADFP championship winner, Wigan all black day winner, which is an impressive achievement that requires a great deal of hard work.

Jayne is a British Professional Champion herself and has trained couples to a very successful standard.
