After qualifying as a solicitor in 1999, I initially specialised in personal injury law. Since 2004 I have also been involved in Will drafting and probate matters and now deal with both these areas of law in my current employment, where I have been since 2007. I have specialised in elderly client law and find it especially rewarding when I can help our most vulnerable clients. I am a Member of Solicitors for the Elderly Group. I also advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection and Trusts.
Having previously worked at a firm of lawyers that had no secretarial staff, I have developed my own typing and organisational skills. I have undertaken managerial training which has developed my skills in communication.
On a more personal note, I try to keep fit when time permits. I especially enjoy swimming and walking with my children. I also enjoy travelling, reading and watching films.
