Trainee solicitor Laura Gynane won the coveted Young Conveyancer of the Year Awards for the Midlands; only four nominees were shortlisted from each of the six regions. This is not the first time someone from QualitySolicitors Davisons has been in the running for the competitive conveyancing awards. Just last year trainee solicitor Hollie Downes won Best Young Conveyancer, and the conveyancing team has been shortlisted in the past.

The LFS awards are widely recognised as being the most prestigious in the conveyancing industry. The Young Conveyancer of the Year Award is one of the most competitive and highly sort after categories. To be eligible for this award, conveyancers must be under 30 years old, have control of their own case load and be responsible for the client from instruction through to completion, and demonstrate an exceptional level of care and expertise.

QualitySolicitors Davisons is a member of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Accreditation Scheme and is incredibly proud of Laura’s nomination. Director Rebecca Parys said there was no doubt about who the firm wanted to put forward for the award.

“Laura is a rising star at QualitySolicitors Davisons,” Ms Parys said, adding “Laura understands our business, our clients’ needs and their expectations, and delivers a great service every time. Myself and the team congratulate her and wish her every success.”

Award recipient Ms Gynane added: “It was thrilling to have been shortlisted for such a prestigious award, and to have now won is an honour. I am really passionate about my job and providing quality service, so this is the cherry on the cake.”

The winners were announced at an LFS Conveyancing Awards dinner on 19 September at The Vox Conference Centre in Birmingham.
