I have been employed by the firm as a specialist employment lawyer since September 2017 and have over 20 years’ experience in the Employment Law field, and have previously worked as a non-practising barrister with over 15 years experience as an advocate in the Employment Tribunals.

I work with both employees and employers; I am equally at home with assisting employees to enforce their proper legal rights where their employers have got it wrong and with assisting employers to get it right in the first place and helping them fix the problem where things have gone wrong.

For employers I am experienced in advising and acting for private and public sector organisations of all sizes in employment law and HR matters, from large scale organisations to microbusinesses just starting up.

Whilst I have extensive experience in defending employers from claims by employees and representing them in Tribunals, I consider that ideally matters should never be allowed to get that far, and am adept at resolving issues and disputes that arise quickly and without the need for Tribunal or Court action, and assisting businesses to try and head off problems before they start.

For employees, I understand that difficulties and problems at work can be an extremely stressful time and can offer helpful, objective and common sense advice in plain English as to your rights and the remedies that are available to enforce them. In appropriate circumstances that can be us acting for an employee in pursuit of a case on a no win-no-fee basis.

My approach with all clients is to provide practical solutions to real problems, and deal with your matter in the way that produces the best outcome for you or your business.
