Sam Kent

Senior Associate. Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives

I have over 25 years’ experience in family law, dealing with divorce, matrimonial financial matters, Children Act matters, injunctions and unmarried couple property disputes.

I have worked for Sydney Mitchell Solicitors for the last 10 years, previously I worked for Cartwright & Lewis, Blair Allison and Grove Tompkins Bosworth Solicitors.

As a specialist family lawyer I enjoy my job and get great satisfaction in helping and seeing people change their lives for the better, from start to finish.  Family law continues to develop with the growth of ways of settling disputes without a necessity of issuing court proceedings.  However, at the centre of all this is achieving the best results for my clients.

My hobbies now are watching live football matches (Villa, Burton Albion and Blues-courtesy of family allegiances), cycling and tennis.  I used to play a lot of football until age and lack of ability caught up with me, I am a qualified FA coach, qualified netball coach and netball umpire (courtesy of having daughters).
