Trainee Solicitor (Training Contract) – Family

Dunn & Baker Solicitors is a progressive and forward-thinking practice who are committed to providing a high level of service to all clients. We are currently looking to recruit a trainee solicitor for qualification into the Family department. This position would suit a recent graduate who has completed the LPC or possibly someone already working in Family within in legal practice who needs to undertake the legal training segment to qualify as a solicitor.

Although you will complete four separate training seats, two will be Family related, with a view to qualifying into Family where you will be required to provide legal advice and guidance to our clients across a full spectrum of Family matters. Including, but not limited to; assisting with divorce and financial proceedings, children-related matters, domestic abuse cases and legally aided family work.

You will also be enthusiastic about the development of the firm’s business in relation to client relationships and promoting new business ideas.

You will have excellent IT skills, excellent organisational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy and thrive when working under pressure. You will also possess strong communication and client face to face skills allowing you to inspire confidence with clients and colleagues across the firm.
