Description

We are currently looking to recruit a trainee solicitor for qualification into the Private Client department. This position would suit someone already working in Private Client within a legal practice who needs to undertake the legal training segment to qualify as a solicitor.

The successful candidate will:

  • Manage their own day to day caseload effectively
  • Perform work accurately, reliably and in accordance with the firm’s risk management procedures
  • Keep up to date with changes and developments in areas of law
  • Be enthusiastic about the development of the firm’s business in relation to client relationships and promoting new business ideas
  • Have excellent IT and organisational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, and thrive when working under pressure.
  • Possess strong communication and client face to face skills allowing you to inspire confidence with clients and colleagues across the firm

About the role:

  • You will complete four separate training seats, two of which will be Private Client related, with a view to qualifying into Private Client where you will be required to provide legal advice and guidance to our clients across a full spectrum of Private Client matters
  • Private Client matters include, but are not limited to: writing Wills, preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney, applications for Probate, and preparation and registration of Trusts
