Kate Hughes


Kate completed her law degree at Queen Mary University in London, and finished with a First Class Honours.

Kate took some time out after finishing her degree to travel the world, before coming back to embark on a legal career.

Kate qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and joined Quality Solicitors Harris Waters in July 2016.  Kate is an advanced member of the Law Society Family Law Accreditation Scheme, with expertise in Domestic Abuse and Private Children Act matters.

Kate advises on a wide range of family issues including care proceedings, Special Guardianship Orders, Child arrangements Orders, and Domestic Abuse.

Since starting at Quality Solicitors Harris Waters Kate has been trained in residential conveyancing, and has been doing a range of property transactions including sales and purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.
