Private Client Administrator/paralegal (Maternity Cover 12-month contract)

We are a high street Solicitors firm based in the town of Wrexham. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic full time administrative assistant/paralegal to join our team for a 12-month contract. We are looking for a highly motivated self-starter with excellent computer and communication skills.

You will be responsible for supporting the smooth running of the office and providing a valuable support service to all members of the team.

 

This role will also include the following duties:

  • Answering telephones and logging calls
  • Dealing with enquiries and quotes
  • Face to face client interactions
  • Maintaining computer records
  • Audio Typing
  • Supporting the Partners with various initiatives
  • Managing a large wills bank
  • Drafting documents/applications
  • Diary management

 

To be considered for this position you must be:

  • Educated to GCSE level
  • Willing to undertake further job-related training
  • Flexible to the needs of the firm
  • Able to ensure correct presentation standards are met
  • Able to work 35 hours a week

 

You must have:

  • Confident IT skills including excellent word-processing
  • An accurate and thorough approach
  • Excellent numeric skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Understanding of client confidentiality
  • Experience of office equipment (e.g fax, photocopier etc.)
  • Professional communication skills – able to communicate with businesses, clients and colleagues, in person, by telephone and in writing.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft programmes

 

Details:

Hours: Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm with an unpaid lunch break of 1 hour

Salary: Negotiable

Duration: 12-month (minimum) contract
