After a frenzy of nominations for NatWest Venus Awards the applications are now in. The awards were set up in 2009 to recognise and reward local women across the Country. The difficult task now begins for the judges to decide on the deserving finalists from Brighton and Sussex who will be invited to attend the glamorous Award Ceremony at the Historic Grand Hotel on 17th October 2014 where the winners will be announced.
It is an exciting time for the region as the mass of nominations and applications are now in and judging is well under way. It looks like there is going to be stiff competition with the vast amount of participation – it has been sky high this year! As part of the Venus Awards process the Nominee Networking event is being held on the 19th June at Brighton Racecourse. This is when the semi-finalists will be announced.
Most of the categories are judged by the sponsors leaving The Argus Customer Service and Juice 107.2 Business Mother categories to face the public vote, so it will be down to you! Voting opens on the 3rd of July for just one week – that’s a date for your diary.
