I have been a qualified Solicitor since 2009 and have held Higher Rights of Audience in the Criminal Courts since 2010.
Prior to qualifying as a Solicitor I worked and trained in criminal law and continued my career in defence work. I am a qualified Police Station Representative and have taken cases from the initial investigation stage at the Police Station right through the Magistrates Court and continued representing clients at the Crown Court.
This background is extremely helpful in the area of Prison Law and Appeals. My experience enables me to view appeal cases from a defence point of view. Being a Solicitor and ensuring fairness in the Criminal Justice System is very important to me. My advocacy experience allows me to make representations at hearings for adjudications and parole with ease.
I have now moved into the area of Family Law and I am now using my experience in the Criminal Courts to represent those in Family Proceedings. Again, the fairness of proceedings and ensuring the best outcome for my client is paramount.
