The first stage is to get you in for a consultation where we will explain the process and take care of any referrals or initial correspondence that is necessary. This is also your opportunity to explain all of the details that are specific and important to your children and to your own, personal circumstances.
In most cases mediation is required when parents and families are unable to reach an agreement by themselves. We will assist parties to reach an amicable agreement. When this is not possible an application for Child Arrangements may be necessary to determine or agree with whom the children should live with, and how much time they should spend with parents and families.
Our charges for the bringing the matter to court is fixed fee and start from £600 plus VAT with an additional Court fee of £215.00 to pay. You may qualify for a Court fee exemption depending on your monthly income and amount of your savings.
There will be further costs once you have gone through the first stage, however, we will be in a better position to advise you fully of what to expect when you have attended our offices for your first consultation.
