    Landlords and tenants should be aware of the changes to the law which came into effect on 6th April 2012 relating to tenancy deposits paid in relation to short-hold tenancies. We have seen a number of landlords who have still not complied with the changes.

    Following a post on Facebook describing plans for gay marriages to be conducted in churches as “an equality too far” Adrian Smith was suspended from his post as a Housing Manager on full pay. The Facebook post had been made outside of working hours on his personal Facebook page. 45 of his colleagues were “friends” of his on the social networking site.
