Andrew qualified as a Solicitor in 2002 and spent the first part of his career working in the East Midlands, where he developed his skills as a Solicitor specialising in Criminal Defence, Road Traffic and Regulatory Prosecutions. He regularly appeared in Magistrates’ and Crown Courts in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire and was for many years  responsible for the day to day management and supervision of the Criminal Department of a long established East Midlands firm.  In April 2013, Andrew saw a complete change of scenery when made the move to Eastleigh to join QualitySolicitors Knight Polson.

Andrew has a great deal of experience in representing clients facing many different types of offences and is often asked to represent clients facing complex or serious charges. He also has a particular interest in representing clients with disabilities and or those with particular needs. He has a mixed practice in the Magistrates’ and Crown Court and continues to provide a regular representation at the Police Station, giving him the ability to represent clients at any stage of proceedings.

Andrew has a particular specialism in  road traffic law where he is known for his ability to spot the missing pieces of evidence in the case and has ensured many a motorist has avoided disqualification.  He also has undertaken a significant amount of work defending prosecutions by the Health and Safety Executive, Environment Agency and RSPCA.

Interests: Andrew regularly plays 5 a side football and badminton. He also loves travelling and is usually busy planning his next trip!!”
