Jojar Singh

Director, Solicitor and Head of Residential Property

Jojar is a Director and Solicitor in the Eastleigh office of Knight Polson. He is an experienced lawyer that deals with all types of commercial and residential property transactions on behalf of private individuals, property developers, private investors, investment companies and international clients.

Jojar is passionate about property and development and advises property investment companies that invest, develop and let property locally. He has a wealth of experience in acquiring and disposing of property and this allows him to draw upon the experience; providing his clients with a bespoke service.

Jojar is very active in the business community; he was the Chairman of the Hampshire Chamber Asian Network; Chairman and Co-Founder of the Chilworth Business Network and a Non-Executive Director to a number of property investment and construction companies.

In 2013, Jojar was awarded an Honorary Masters of Law Degree from Southampton Solent University for his work in legal practice, the local business community and with the University.

In 2015, Jojar was Keynote Speaker at Southampton Solent University's Solent eXchange event which was held for over 200 staff members. He opened the event and shared his experiences of life in education, private practice and explained how the two are interlinked.

Residential & Commercial Property:

A strong residential caseload of acting for first time buyers, shared-ownership and staircasing transactions, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, help to buy, right to buy, buy to lets and auction sales and purchases.

Acquisition of a restaurant and commercial building for redevelopment into residential units in Oxford Street, Southampton. Various lease re-newals, new leases and commercial property work.

Property Development:

Option agreements for clients acquiring and selling an £8 million site in Eastleigh to a large, regional property development company. A £1 million option over a site in Stoneham, Eastleigh.

Working for a developer in various option agreements across Hampshire for residential development.
