I was surprised by how long the whole process took. At one point I didn’t realise you were waiting for information from me. My request was completed in accordance with my wishes, for around the cost I was expecting. I think 3 different lawyers worked on my case, and this didn’t appear to add any delays to the process. Overall the service was very good. I would make one small point: undoubtedly there are many tasks to be completed in the process of conveyancing and often, inevitably, a customer wants things to move faster than they can do. But there are some things that seemed to be slower than is typical in other industries/businesses, e.g. use of regular mail service to transfer documents that could be emailed and then an original signed by the customer followed up as the "official" copy.
