I qualified as a solicitor in 1983. After qualifying I worked in Woking and then as a locum for several local firms before setting up Palmers in 1992. From a small office in the garden of our house it has grown into a firm with 2 offices and 10 staff.
As senior partner I provide down to earth and practical advice and never lose sight of the fact that I am there to do what you want and will use my legal expertise to help you achieve that. I would say I am not what people think of when they hear the words “senior partner” as I am both informal and proactive.
I deal with a variety of private client work including conveyancing, wills and probate and all kinds of general disputes and legal situations as they affect people. I particularly enjoy dealing with difficult and unusual problems and finding ways of solving them using expertise built up over the last 30 years.
Until recently I also sat part time as a tribunal judge. This has lead me to be an expert in benefits law and dispute resolution and this often enables me to bring an extra expertise to matters.
I am a keen fan of Crystal Palace FC and am the secretary of the supporters association.
