Suzanne Oldnall has been appointed Head of the Domestic Abuse Team. Suzanne has over 25 years’ experience in Family Law and specialises in domestic abuse cases, emergency injunctions / non-molestation orders and applications under the Protection from Harassment Act 1997. Her hugely successful team specialises in cases of domestic abuse and provides a support which goes beyond simply assisting once a case has been brought. In April 2014 the Domestic Abuse Unit dealt with 15 injunctions. It is supported by West Mercia Women’s Aid, Worcestershire Forum against Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence and the Stonham Group who regularly attend the Drop In Centre with victims of Domestic Abuse.
Other appointments include Richard Green to Employment Partner, Karen Billington appointed as Wills and Probate Partner, Emma Roberts who has been promoted to Family Law Partner.
Richard Green joined the firm in 2013 and specialises in contentious and non-contentious Employment Law, representing principally Employers. He has a particular interest in education and acts for a number of schools in both the public and private sector. Richard advises and represents clients on all employment disputes ranging from unfair dismissal to discrimination and equal pay claims, and does his own advocacy in both the Employment Tribunal and the EAT.
Karen Billington joined QualitySolicitors Parkinson Wright in June 2011 as a solicitor. Based in the Droitwich office, she specialises in Estate Administration, Will Drafting, Trust Advice, Care Home Funding, Equity Release, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work. She is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly, is currently studying for her Society of Trustee and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Diploma and is a Trustee at Age UK Droitwich Spa.
Emma Roberts joined the firm as a Solicitor February 2010. She is a member of the Children’s Panel and is able to assist families once social services have become involved. Emma works with all aspects of residence, contact and other disputes involving children including securing contact with children for parents and grandparents. Emma is certified by Resolution as a specialist family lawyer in the areas of private children law and domestic abuse.
