Amy is a Solicitor within the firm and worked as a Paralegal in the Midlands gaining experience in Employment Law, Civil Litigation, and Private Family Law, before moving to North Wales to complete her Training Contract with a local firm. Amy qualified as a Solicitor in March 2022 and joined Edward Hughes in July 2022, specialising in Private Client and Residential Property. 

Amy can advise on the following Private Client matters:

  • Lasting Powers of Attorney for both Health and Welfare and Property and Finances
  • Deputyship applications 
  • Applications for Grant of Probate or Letters of Administration
  • Administration of estates

Amy understands that Private Client matters are often sensitive and sometimes difficult and takes pride in being friendly and supportive when dealing with her client’s personal affairs. She strives for clients to feel as comfortable as possible and able to ask any questions or disclose any concerns that they may have throughout the process.

  • Selling and purchasing residential freehold/leasehold and registered/ unregistered property
  • Advising on and drafting leases

Amy appreciates that a client’s property is often their biggest and most important asset and that transactions in relation to property can be stressful with time being of the essence. Amy works closely with clients, estate agents and mortgage providers to ensure that the process is as smooth and efficient as possible.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys exploring the Welsh countryside with her Golden Retriever Rosie, baking, DIY and painting.
