I joined QualitySolicitors Edward Hughes in January 2017 as a Trainee at the Firm, and qualified as a Solicitor in September 2019.
I offer advice in respect of Family and Criminal Law related matters, and I am accredited by the Law Society in England and Wales as a Criminal Litigator. I am currently enrolled as a Duty Solicitor across Courts and Police Stations in North Wales.
I am a recognised custody representative having gained the qualification in February 2017 through Cardiff University. The core of the advice relates to either way criminal offences, and I have experience in dealing with complex matters in custody such as drug offences, drug conspiracies, violent and sexual offences, and murder, from the start of the proceedings at the Police Station right the way through to Crown Court proceedings.
In relation to Family cases, I have experience dealing with matters under the Children Law Legislation, which are cases involving:
- 1. Complex injuries to children
- 2. Vulnerable adults and those who require representation from the Official Solicitor
- 3. Applications for Adoption (Placement) and Care Orders
- 4. Private Law Children Orders including Child Arrangement Orders, Specific Issue Orders and Prohibitive Steps Orders.
I thrive in the fast-paced life of being a Court Advocate appearing in Family and Criminal Courts on a daily basis, and I am committed to ensuring that each client receives the highest level of client care.
I am a fluent Welsh Speaker and can offer advice through the medium of Welsh.
In my spare time I enjoy travelling, running and cooking for friends and family.
