Andrew joined the Family Department at Dunn & Baker Solicitors in March 2023 and is based in the Exeter office. Andrew has worked in the UK legal industry since 1988, beginning his UK legal career as an Articled Clerk within the London Law Society where he undertook advocacy in both the County and High Courts. Having worked a large portion of his career for Legal Firms in Bristol, London, Cardiff and Eastbourne, Andrew relocated to Devon in 2018 where he worked for a local firm until joining Dunn & Baker.

Andrew obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political at the University of Alabama in Huntsville USA in 1985, subsequently relocating to the UK and qualifying as a Solicitor through the University of West of England in the UK in 1991. Andrew boasts over 30 years’ experience and has been a member of Resolution for a number of years, having completed his Resolution Collaborative Training in May 2017. He now holds the Resolution Specialist Accreditation status in the areas of complex financial remedy and private law children cases.

Andrew believes that his client’s deserve to be listened to and helped during a time that can be extremely difficult and upsetting. He gains great pleasure in assisting clients during periods when they were suffering personal upheaval and distress in their lives, helping them to achieve a fair resolution to the issues they were facing on a constructive, sympathetic and proportional basis.

Andrew specialises in privately funded Family law matters with a focus on divorce and separation, and all of the additional aspects that are involved in this process. This includes child arrangements, financial remedy, domestic abuse cases and pre-/post-marital agreements.
