Julia qualified as a solicitor in 2013. Julia has a degree in English Literature from Cardiff University and completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at Exeter University.

Julia is a solicitor working within the Commercial Property Department. Julia joined Dunn & Baker Solicitors in 2016 having previously worked for another local regional law firm. Previous to this, Julia spent several years as a Company Commercial Paralegal prior to qualifying as a solicitor in 2013. Julia specialises in all aspects of commercial property work including commercial sales/purchases, landlord and tenant matters (acting for both landlord and tenant) and business sales and acquisitions.

Julia’s commercial background and experience of business transactions gives her good commercial awareness and an understanding of the practicalities of commercial property transactions which involve the sale of a business. Julia has experience dealing with the sale and acquisition of shops, cafes and tourist attractions.

Julia recently advised on the purchase of Charlestown Harbour, the setting for the BBC Drama Poldark which included the acquisition of a harbour, waterside and beaches along with an historic vessel and associated business.

Priding herself on providing clear and timely advice to clients, Julia always ensures that her clients fully understand all aspects of their transactions. Julia likes to keep her clients fully informed of progress and being conscious of clients expectations, aims to complete all matters in a timely manner.
