Katie Bennett

Katie’s legal career began in 2012 with her first legal role as administration assistant for national firm with an office in Devon. Quickly progressing and becoming a Trainee Licensed Conveyancer in 2012 and qualified with the Council for Licensed Conveyancers (CLC) in April 2023. Katie joined Dunn & Baker Solicitors in May 2021.

Katie has sound knowledge of all aspects of residential conveyancing and has excellent client care skills. She specialises in freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, help to buy redemptions and unregistered properties.

Katie ensures that clients are not afraid to ask questions about their transactions, which in turn assists in ensuring that her clients are informed and happy about what is happening. She ensures that any explanations are provided in a jargon free manner so as not to confuse her clients and always ensures that what is advised is understood. She believes that this relationship with her clients leads to a more stress free experience for them. Katie’s family has lived in Devon for generations, meaning that Katie herself has vast knowledge of the local area.
