Michael Micklethwait

Associate Solicitor

Michael joined Dunn & Baker Solicitors in February 2018 and is an Associate Solicitor within our thriving Private Client Department at our Cullompton office.

Michael qualified as a solicitor in 1998. He gained an Honours Degree in Law and Politics at Oxford Brookes University and completed his legal studies at the College of law in York.

Michael is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) and Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE).

Michael offers a wealth of experience and expertise in dealing with all aspects of Private Client law including Will drafting, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Tax planning, Administration of Estates, Mental Capacity and Trusts. Michael particularly enjoys getting to grips with trusts.

Michael is happy to undertake either home visits or hospital visits. Michael is based in the Cullompton office but is happy to travel to Exeter to see clients if it is necessary.

In an area of complicated legal jargon Michael takes pride in explaining the processes in a way that is understandable and reassuring. He ensures that his clients are fully aware of all the options available to them, in order for the client to make the most informed decision, also taking into account their own needs and circumstances.
