Thomas Hunt

Paralegal

I began studying Law in 2019 at Nottingham Trent University. During my time studying, I was very fortunate to be chosen for a local work placement at Gedling Borough Council. During my short time at Gedling, I began to enjoy practicing law and answering the general queries that were issued by the local residents.

After my placement ended, I missed interacting and helping the public with their legal queries. Therefore, for the following two years, I volunteered at the Nottingham office of the charity Support Through Court. Over the two years, I was able to support my local community, both in and out of the court room, whilst completing my degree and the Legal Practice Course.

In 2023 I began working as a Networks Commercial Property Paralegal. Day to day I dealt with all aspects of general commercial property.  Despite enjoying my time there, after spending two years with the team, I began to miss getting to know my clients. As a result, in 2025, I searched for a role that would allow me to meet my clients and would allow me to practice my favourite area of law. Very luckily, I was offered my current role at Quality Solicitors Yates & Co. Every day, I enjoy communicating with my clients and progressing my legal knowledge.

Outside of the office, I love to watch the football and F1 with my friends. More recently, I have begun to enjoy cooking and baking, often bringing in my latest baking concoctions into the office.
