1. What is your favourite part of the job?

I really enjoy helping people who find themselves in difficult situations and finding the best resolution for them.

2. What made you choose law?

I started off in an administrative role related to law and as I got more involved I could see the complexity and challenges. This made me want to have access to that and the opportunity to have direct contact with the client also appealed to me.

3. How long have you been with the firm?

9 months now and I feel really settled in.

4. What’s the most memorable case you’ve worked on?

A high value multi-track personal injury claim, where a young man who had a young family, had a severe injury at work which left him with a disability and therefore could no longer work. The challenge was to achieve a fair settlement for him and assist him in finding a suitable job for him in the future so he could carry on supporting his family.

5. Why did you specialise in Personal Injury?

Being able to work on the claimant’s side and assisting people who have found themselves problematic circumstances due to an injury which was no fault of their own.

I have also got more involved with landlord and tenant disputes as well as other general litigation areas and am enjoying the challenge of using my current knowledge as well as learning new things too.

6. What’s your favourite food?

Curry. Indian and Thai, I love finding new restaurants to eat them in and making them at home as well.

7. Favourite season?

Summer, because you get to be outdoors and the evenings are longer!

8. What is your most favourite word?

Cosmopolitan, it sounds sophisticated and it’s a cocktail.

9. What did you want to be growing up?

I wanted to join the circus as a juggling tight rope walker!

Why did the lawyer cross the road? Because someone paid them to!
