Ian Stephenson
Ian was admitted as a solicitor in 1980 and since then has built up well over 30 years of experience in most aspects of non-contentious work for business and private clients alike. He has advised businesses from sole traders to PLCs, dealing with property transactions, contracts, employment and relevant licensing and can assist with agricultural and charitable issues.
Ian concentrates mainly on private client matters, advising on wills, probate, trusts, tax mitigation and lasting powers of attorney.
Outside the office Ian pursued an interest in business training and education, and was a governor/director of a local college, and a trustee/director of a charitable training organisation for over 20 years.
Ian follows a variety of sports, and still plays occasional squash and golf himself.
