Solicitors who deal with Family Law matters have a very different task to the Solicitors dealing in other areas of Law. Family Law requires unique talents and experience because the job is very much about people, emotions and practical matters. The Family Law solicitor’s role within the court process is again vastly different from the solicitors who deal with other non-Family court cases as it’s not just a case of ploughing forward to win a court battle. The Family Solicitor has to consider many aspects of the case in considering the greatest benefit to the individual they’re representing.
Legal Aid is the government funding which provides help towards an individual’s legal costs. Legal aid provides financial assistance with the legal costs of expert legal advice or representation. However, in Family cases that funding is no longer available in all save a very few cases.
