On a wet and windy summers evening Barwells stormed to victory in The Ghulam Cup beach volleyball tournament. Congratulations go to Rob Vint, Stephen Ash, Paul Chaloner, Ollie Wilson, Shannon Sutton, Josh Elliott, Stuart Cotter and Niall Doherty. 15 teams took part, there were some scary moments, but we stayed strong and won the trophy. Each year, 1Crown Office Row organise the tournament which raises money for the Rockinghorse Appeal. This hugely popular event has gone from strength to strength and we look forward to defending the cup in 2020.
Barwells are very proud sponsors of the 1st stage of the 2019 Men's Tour of Sussex. The event runs from 4th - 7th July, starting in the coastal town of Seaford, East Sussex and taking a tough route including the magical Ditchling Beacon, Beachy Head in the wonderful South Downs National Park and finishing in Ashdown Forest It looks to be a tough event with a real emphasis on team players! #tourofsussex
